Adaptation to the Machinery Directive

It is the responsibility of every production plant that uses industrial machines and other technical equipment in its daily work to ensure an appropriate level of occupational health and safety. The employer’s responsibility in this area is specified in detail in the Labor Code. The essential requirements for the use of machines are also regulated by the Tools Directive 2009/104/EC, which the owners of all industrial enterprises are obliged to respect.

TKM Projekt, as an integrator of automation systems, deals with the design and implementation of machines adapted to the Machinery Directive. We create solutions whose design is internally safe, adapted to specific processes of the production plant and compliant with the latest standards.

Application

The operational compliance of machines with applicable safety requirements is the basis for safe, effective work. Outdated, heavily exploited machines and production lines pose a real threat to employees and increasing operating costs resulting from, among others, from breakdowns, downtime and frequent repairs. Adapting devices to the Machinery Directive is therefore not only an obligation, but also an opportunity to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the company. It should be remembered that the employer bears full criminal liability for the safety of the machinery in the workplace.

Increased security

Adapting devices to applicable legal requirements and using appropriate protective measures eliminates threats in the work environment. The machines have a declaration of conformity and meet the latest safety standards.

Production efficiency

By adapting the machine to the requirements of international law, the company has a chance to avoid costly downtime caused by accidents.

Functionality

By implementing advanced solutions in the area of automation, the functionality of machines and the level of their precision increase, which translates into a more efficient and accurate production process.

Cost optimization

Greater production efficiency means faster delivery of final products to the market, and therefore greater profits. Machines adapted to applicable directives also generate less material losses and fewer failures.
