Mobile lock

The struggles related to controlling the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic have clearly shown that hospitals and health care facilities should be equipped with solutions that reduce the risk of transmission of pathogens, which can be quickly used whenever isolation of a patient is necessary. The Mobile Airlock is a response to the growing needs in the fight against hospital infections and a modern alternative to the previously used strip curtains, which provides much higher protection – both for patients and staff.

It is equipped with intelligent functions such as suggesting waiting time in the buffer zone or detecting door closure, which increase the effectiveness of insulation. The mobile lock has variable geometric dimensions, which allows it to be easily adapted to different entrance dimensions to the insulated area. This is extremely important in the context of the changing epidemic situation and the need to quickly adapt isolation procedures to the new reality

The lock is equipped with an automatic disinfection system that independently decides whether to perform it based on the recorded number of passes. Process automation ensures high efficiency and minimizes the need for staff intervention, which translates into greater efficiency.

High functionality

The lock’s design assumes easy installation and full adaptation to a wide range of dimensions of the installation space. The external sealing system around the entire circumference compensates for unevenness of the walls and ceiling with low pressure on the surface. The adaptive design allows you to quickly unfold and fold the airlock to a size that allows for easy transport in the hospital elevator and corridor.

Effectiveness

The mobile airlock has undergone rigorous microbiological tests using a test bioaerosol, which confirmed high protection against the spread of pathogens.

The mobile lock was created to reduce the risk of epidemics and ensure effective isolation of patients and medical staff – especially in facilities and departments not adapted for this purpose. The product is addressed to all recipients who need a mobile solution that isolates utility rooms from microorganisms. The mobile lock is particularly used in health care institutions, serving to quickly and effectively transform hospital rooms into fully safe isolation rooms.

However, the solution will work not only in medical facilities, but also wherever there is a need to temporarily separate two spaces – e.g. in the manufacturing, pharmaceutical or food industries, where some rooms must be safely separated from the contaminated zone during renovation works.
